Event Information
Just laugh! It’s the best instruction you can take to instantly feel wonderful. There’s no faster way to get there than by heading to a world-class comedy show with a few mates.
Following their rip-roaringly funny premiere last month at Mezz at The Agenda, The Laughter Factory is back with some of the best live stand-ups in the business. With appearances on ‘Live at the Apollo’ and ‘Comedy Central,’ their line-up is top-notch.
Described by Jason Manford as “One of my favorite discoveries of 2019,” Emmanuel Sonubi brings hilarious, warm, and unique comedy. If you don't catch him now for just a tenner, you won't be able to smugly tell your mates about it when they're paying £50 for a bad seat. What more can we say?
Next up is Omar, the winner of the prestigious 'So You Think You're Funny' award at the Edinburgh Fringe. Omar brings a hilarious, unique perspective on life, sharing stories from his childhood moving from Egypt to Wales to Cambridge.
Finally, the mind behind 'Hello Cuties' on Instagram, Saaniya Abbas, isn’t your average comedian. With sold-out shows at legendary venues like The Comedy Store, The Comedy Cellar, and Hollywood Improv, Saaniya’s global popularity is undeniable. With over half a million fans across her social platforms, she's bringing her sharp wit to the stage for an unforgettable performance.
Don’t miss the chance to laugh non-stop for a few hours. It really is the best possible way to spend Emmanuel Sonubi Emmanuel is one of the most asked-about acts, and is in hot demand as a headliner, Emmanuel has performed on Comedy Central and ITV2 Stand Up Sketch show. Most recently performing on Live At The Apollo 2021 and he has been working as tour support for Jason Manford 2021.
As seen on Live At The Apollo 2021 ITV 2 Stand Up Sketch Show One of my favourite discoveries of 2019 was Emmanuel Sonubi. Hilarious, warm and unique. If you don't see him now for a tenner, you won't be able to smugly tell your mates about it when they're paying £50 for a crap seat at the O2!” Jason Manford
London-based Emmanuel Sonubi has only been on the comedy circuit for what feels like five minutes and he’s already garnering himself a reputation as one to watch out for...
Ex-bouncer Emmanuel was born and bred in North London where he extracts most of his hilarious interactions with the vibrant cockneys and reprobates he has encountered. Now, as a father of two, the soon-to-be headliner has a wealth of material for playing pranks with his kids as well as his questionable parenting skills.
Since 2015 he has performed at numerous high-profile clubs including The Comedy Store, The Glee Club, Comedy Loft, The Comedy Café, Top Secret Club, Butlin’s Weekenders, The International Comedy Festival Rotterdam, Altitude Comedy Festival at The Ski Show, plus regular shows in Ibiza, Cyprus, Turkey and Holland. He has even headlined the Bestival comedy tent (by accident)
Saaniya Abbas
The mind behind "hello cuties" on Instagram, Saaniya Abbas, isn't your average comedian. During her most recent tour in the US and the UK, she performed at sold-out shows at legendary clubs like The Comedy Store, The Comedy Cellar and Hollywood Improv. Saaniya is a globally popular comedian with over half a million fans on her social platforms.
With a knack for funny insights into global cultural quirks, Saaniya tells her hilarious story - of breaking away from tradition and making her own path. Her jokes resonate with people from all walks of life.
Omar
Originally from Egypt, Omar started stand-up in 2019 and, in his first year (global pandemic), went on to win the prestigious 'So You Think You're Funny' award at the Edinburgh Fringe. He talks about his encounters with strange school friends, football fans, and EDL-badge-wearing bouncers, providing unique insight from a childhood moving from Egypt to Wales to Cambridge.
"Omar Badawy is already a consummate pro. He discusses the Muslim stereotypes he had to deal with on moving from Egypt to Wales with originality and dry wit. The slick routine boasts distinctive jokes and is delivered with a winning poise and calmness." – Steve Bennett, Chortle.
